Only God knows.......

I had a remote appointment in a far, far away land recently and just got back to my home sweet home apartment. Did my enormous amount of laundry, get my celeb fix on E! and waited for my flatmates to come back. One of them was excited about the recent development of Anwar/Saiful rape/sodomy case. There's this blog, written by Saiful's fiancee. What she wrote is nothing much but what people wrote is something else. Some are plain rude, some are defensive, some are just hilarious. The one i like best was from this "adik-adik", it was really FUNNEEEYYY!!!! Fyi, the blog is called "a step into my pink mary jane", try n check it out.

An acquaintance today also asked me about the issue; "what do u think? Can an old man rape a young man? it doesn't make sense, rite?" I couldn't reply with a politically-correct answer but i joked by saying "For all u know, AI is the bottom!" We had a big laugh.

on a different ocassion, my GAY BOYFRIEND was a bit 'emo' reading the newspaper one morning that he barked; "so what's wrong if he's gay? being gay doesn't make him a bad leader? why can't people just leave him alone? seriously honey, what do u think?"
my cold, matter-of-factly remark was; "he's a politician. his life is put under a huge microscope. if u r a nobody, like u honey pie, u can be a as gay as u want and nobody bothers, but once u enter politics, u nid to be a holy man - at least here in malaysia"

I reminiscence about my younger years in a boarding school. It was a co-ed school so people thot there wudn't be any homo activities going on, but they are so wrong. There were boys who were so openly admit (if not proudly declare) of keeping a "JAMBU" or several of them. These boys, now hetero married men with kids, if u look at them, it wud never occured to u that they once were sodomites. We also have read about male prostitutes in KL being frequented by married men. Owh, mind u, my gay BF is nothing like sotong or wutsoever and most people think that we r having an affair, whenever girls (who fancy him n i think are in denial of the fact that he's gay) give that 'i-know-u-2-r-hvg-n-affair' remarks, i wud say "he's gay for crying out loud!!" but no one buys. not my fault. thing is, not all gays LOOK GAY.

Not that I m accusing AI is gay (or bi), i m just saying that it was not sumthin that we never heard of. The only thing that bugs me is that this time round, AI is no longer a man in power, he is in his 60's and the aide was initially a volunteer - which shows he wasn't in a dire need of money - thus no pressure to keep his job that makes him to surrender to unconsented sex. But then again....opposing opinion mite think otherwise...we r free to think what we want to think and only God knows....
